Stewardship
All of our gifts and resources come from God;
stewardship is our partnership with God to do His work in the world. It
is all we do and all we say once we say we believe. Stewardship is a
way of life in which we give back a portion of the gifts with which
we each are blessed.
The Stewardship Committee is a nurturing body that
encourages parishioners to advance the understanding of their own
stewardship journey and to
encourage their ever growing generosity of time, talents, and treasures.
Stewardship committee meetings are held the second Friday of each month
at 7:30
am,
normally in the library. These meetings are open to all. Meetings begin
and end with prayer and include thoughtful discussion of what God is
calling us to do as we work to make stewardship integral to the lives of
the entire parish.
The
stewardship committee envisions raising the level of awareness and
participation within the church so that our faith community becomes
known throughout the Diocese of Virginia and the Episcopal Church of the
United States
as an exemplary steward of our collective time, talent, and treasure to
the Glory of God. I invite you to become an active steward of the gifts
you have been given. Come Share the Journey.
