Lay Visitors Ministry

These lay ministers visit and bring the encompassing love of Christ to those parishioners who are experiencing some type of crisis. They visit those in the hospital, the lonesome and homebound, those suffering bereavement, those undergoing a long illness, or the lovely event of a new baby.

There is a group who call after the birth or adoption of a baby and then follow-up with the new parents. Also, there is a group of individuals who write notes expressing the love and concern of the Church when a member of the parish suffers the loss of someone dear to them. The clergy are responsible for making the actual bereavement visits.

If you would like a visit, please contact Mary Dixon Hutcheson at 703-549-1450 ext 127 or click here to send Mary Dixon an email.
