He provides guidance and resources for the staff and ministry leaders and serves in the councils and supporting institutions of the Episcopal Church and worldwide Anglican Communion. He is responsible for initiating and sustaining the leadership and learning environments of the parish contributing to theological vision, pastoral excellence, and prophetic voice. The Rev. Ann Gillespie, x116 Click here to send Ann an email Ann is clergy director for the planning and vision of worship and music. She orchestrates our worship and plans the worship calendar. Ann also oversees the management of our pastoral ministries including guiding and directing the lay Eucharistic ministry, assigning clergy on-call rotation and serving as pastor to many in our church. Ann brings to parish ministry a 20-year career as an actress in television and theater and 12 years as a yoga teacher. Click here to read more about Ann
Interim Associate Rector for Evangelism and Faith Formation
The Rev. Heather VanDeventer, x124 Click here to send Heather an email Heather VanDeventer is the Interim Associate Rector for Faith Formation and Evangelism. Previously, she served three years as Assistant Chaplain and Teacher of Religion at Episcopal High School, Alexandria where she taught Biblical Theology to tenth graders, regularly led and preached in chapel services, and co-led the Girls Christian Fellowship. Prior to EHS, she was priest associate at St. Paul's, San Rafael, California and St. Mark's, Berkeley, California while being a stay-at-home-mom for her daughters.
